Default Having Starter Problems..

Ok, my new hatch with a b16a2 block, type r head, type r tranny is running excellent...only problem is getting it started!!

I can't seem to get it started on my own, I have to have someone turn the ignition while I fiddle with this wire on the solenoid

and in case you aren't familiar with its location its here...

well anyway, I've tried replacing the connectors and all that... but it still doesnt want to start unless I do the above mentioned procedure...

any ideas?
TIA

Test it and see whats wrong, sounds like your starter solenoid is loose inside.
