H2b vtec wiring issue? Need input please
I've been searching and getting a lot of different things. Coming here seeing if I can get a correct answer.
I have a 92 civic with h2b. I have put a new engine and cabin harness from another car. I have no vtec. While looking for solutions I've ran across two things that has my head running in circles. Pin a4 (vtec solenoid) has 10v coming straight out of the ecu. Is that suppose to have power, with just key on? If so, how does it click when you touch it to the battery? I also unplugged the solenoid and my check engine light appears, but it is not solid. It is throwing the code over and over I have nothing jumped. Is it possible it's set up to do that with hondata s300 or has anyone seen this stuff happen before?
