h2b overheating...?
so a few days ago my maintenance required light started flasing for about 2 seconds when i started up my car. So i know i need an oil change. Now i was parked in my driveway with the car running because i was installing a new head unit and i realized that my temp gauge went all the way to H. Coolant started flowing to the overflow and i had a coolant leaking. I then shut the car off and check the rad and i didnt have much coolant so i added more. go to start it up again and right back to H after about 15 minutes of idling. Im thinking its my waterpump? Maybe thermostat? any suggestions?
And yes my fan works

Run the car until it warms up and fell the top and bottom radiator hoses and if ones cold and ones hot,Its your thermostat not opening. Both hoses should be the same temperature. If thats not the problem,Bring your car to a radiator shop and have them do a pressure check and you might have a pin hole leak in a hose you cant find.If thats not it,See if someone will let you borrow a 3 row Koyo radiator and Fal fan.My H used to run hot until I changed the fan and radiator.
ok well i just changed the thermostat and started it up and the same thing happened, still overheating. Ill try changing the radiator and fan now.
When i was changing the thermostat I opened the housing and no coolant spilt out?

I tried bleeding the coolant... I topped the radiator off till it couldnt take anymore. Then I opened the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing and nothing happened. No air came out, no coolant came out and the coolant level in the radiator stayed the same. Am I doing something wrong? Ohh and this is when the car is cold. Should I warm it up before anything?
