yea? a sharpie? im looking to mark anything i may need to remember. bolts that i dont want to get mixed up.. u know that kinda thing.. just precautions.its only the second time ive attempted to rebuild so i dont want to do anything wrong.

i know ppl are gonna say im a newbie and should have a pro do it but im 19 and support myself..not very much money to have a pro do it.. lol cheaper for me to do..im not saying im completely helpless im getting my degree for auto but i gotta learn more somehow..

best way to learn is to do it

I know what your saying. Im also 19 and am doing 2 complete engine builds right now. Yea you should be able to use a Sharpie on everything you need to mark. Or lay it all out in order and keep everything in order

Well if doing a rebuild you should pretty much replace everything except the crank, if you are going to rebuild with forged pistons and rods.

Yea I forgot about that, I replied in your thread mentioning that. You can check my build thread if you want to get an idea on all the parts I'm replacing for for my turbo build and some of the parts I'm using
