Default h23 or b20a rods in b18a

i was wondering if h23 rods or b20a rods could be put in a b18a for a better r/s ratio. i already have the pistons covered i just couldn t find the rod journal size.

b20 rods are the same, the B20 motor is just a an overbored B18A. what is the big and small end diameters on the H23 rod? what is the length, what is the journal/bearing width, I've never heard of this swap.

no my friend i was referring to a b20A, the early prelude motor. the lengths on these rods are 141.5, but i don't know much else about them. the h23 are the same length, giving the ls a 1.59 r/s ratio.

well in that case you sound like a the old one follower, looking for the right rod ratio, fine, ask larry on the endyn board I am sure he has all this stuff on graphs. what is your idea? what are you truing to build? stroker destoke???? use the B17 crank with LS rods in a B18A for some fun for example. are you sure that B 20 wasnt a H series????
