H22A vs. F20B
HP, TQ, RELIABILITY, PROBLEMS, etc.
I know the H22a inside out. I was told that the F20b fits into the H tranny so Im contemplating a quick longblock swap. Contribute as you please.
H22A
HP: 200 TQ: 156ft/lbs
RELIABILITY/PROBLEMS: made from an atypical metal that tends to warp over time under high pressure and temps. Causes piston rings to oval and cylinder walls begin to score causing noticeable oil consumption.
Any information on how this compares to the F20b, please provide...Or if you want to provide more info on the 2-2, all is welcome for the sake of education. Just dont bs.

so im hearing...
F20b has cast iron sleeves as oppose to the H22a aluminum sleeves.
+1 for the F
anybody konw anything? i understand its a rare motor...not too much konwledge out there.

...anyhow, I swapped out my boxed 2.2 and opted for the F20B out of a 2001 automatic euro accord SIR. figured this way id get a motor in great shape, not to mention id be swapping out the cams regardless next summer. overall, the motor's a beaut.
