Default H22 Oil Pump O-Ring

Sorry to double post this, but I am getting no help in the Prelude forum...

OK... long story short, I bought a new oil pump for my race motor. On the new oil pump I noticed that the circle o-ring groove is smaller then on the oil pump that came on my motor. I figured it was a revision. I ordered the O-Ring from Honda but the new one I got was the same size as the old one and too large to fit my new pump. WTF?

the part I speak of is part 32 in this diagram. Any ideas? I am using a brand new from the dealer Honda oil pump. The O-Ring they supply me for this pump does not fit. Is there a revision to the size of this O-Ring that is making this difficult, or was my oil pump not properly machined before it was sent out?
