hey my buddy has a eg hatch with a h22 swap the car vibrates really bad at idle but not as bad when driving is that normal or is there any way to reduce that?

 

Mine does the same thing.Its usually the harder motor mounts that are used.I have the Avid Racing mounts and I also had the innovative mounts but I took the innovative mounts off because they vibrate quite alot so I changed them to Avid and its not that bad anymore.Or your friend might have a worn out or broken mount.Check them all out to be safe.Good Luck bro..

What does it idle at when it vibrates?On my eg with avids i have to idle it at 950-1000 rpms,when it idles 800 rpm it vibrates.Turn your idle up a bit and see if it goes away.
