H22 in EG (Vibrating)
This is the deal. After the swap the motor seems to vibrate my car. I didn't have any problems with my B20 VTEC swap. Is this normal for H22's in an EG? Oh yea I'm using Place Racing mounts. Thanks guys

I know with the Hasport or the HCP kits it vibrates a TAD bit....but that's usually the case with any stiff mounts.

well the place racing mounts are solid mounts...u will get a little vibration here and there...also i have place racing and im very happy with them so far...as far as bad things about them i havent heard any.. i almost bought the hcp kit...i called about 6 shops that do the h22 swaps often and asked what they would use..oddly they all said to use place racing...so who knows...only thing ive heard about hcp is it breakig the side oil filled mount cause they dont supply one with the kit..

Vibration usually is one of three things... and in this order from the most common to the least common.....
1) Axle (wrong configuration)
2) Motor mounts not tightened down enough
3) Transmission (very rare but I've seen it)
Check the axles first Usually the culprit

Re: H22 in EG (cccya)
Did you put a new timing belt on? If so you could have the balance shaft belt off causing the vibration. If that is off at all you will have problems. I would double check that. Hope that helps.
