Default H22 IM

or just any of our IMs I guess. How the **** do you take it off!!? I mean how do you reach the bottom bolts? even if you get underneath the car it seems like the water pipes would be directly in the way. would it help at all if I remove the water pump on the passenger side? I can reach the bolts with my fingers on the drivers side, but how I would get a ratchet or wrench there is a ****ing math quiz. some help plz. I love it how in manuals, they always just show a diagram of where bolts are on a part, and just tell you to remove them like it's so simple as they don't take into account everything that's in the way.....

well, got it off yesterday. Took about 5 hours I think. I some how got two of the bottom bolts by just reaching underneath from the driver's side with a short ratchet. Removing the fuel rail first helped. Then I got the other three by removing the thermostat and most of the lines with it. In the process I ended up spilling whole lotta radiator fluid on the driveway, broke a knock sensor, broke the head off the small bolt that goes on top of the big bolt that secures the fuel line to the fuel rail, and stripped the threads on either the lugnut, or the stud on the knuckle (not related to the IM removal, but happened while taking off the wheel from trying to get underneath the car).
