i just put 99-00 si lines into my 98 hatchback, and a brand new compressor, got everything plugged in.
ran the vacuum pump
went to charge it with 134a, cans hooked up, pressure switch is shorted out, ac is on full blast but the compressor does not come on.
the condenser fan comes on but the compressor does not.

can anyone tell me what im missing here?

 

What do you mean you put 99-00 si lines into your 98 hatch, did the hatch not have A/C, and did you install all the A/C components or did you just need some new "lines"? 94

 

I agree, OP, we need more info. Give us some extra background.

 

its okay i figured out what it was. the ground wire from the AC switch on the dash, to the relay in the fuse box is broken somewhere.

 

going to honda tomorrow to take a look at it with an ETM
