h22 ecu?

ok im doing a jdm h22 swap into my ek hatch the swap is obd2 but i wanna run a usdm ecu my question is does the usdm ecu look for any sensors that the jdm does not have. if so what are they

i believe they are the same. if the us motor has a sensor that the jdm motor doesnt have, its not a critical sensor....(i.e. egr).
