Default brake problem

I just changed my front brake pads. I put on hawk pads. everything went smoothly. however, when i go 65-70 mph and press on the brakes, the steering wheel shakes and it seems like the whole car is shaking. Whats wrong?!?! I have a 00' integra gsr and the new pads are hawk hp+ (street/race). thanks

dude your front rotors are probably out of shape if the rotors can be machined have them machined and get new pads if not get new rotors and pads. The reason i say get new pads is because when u have out of shape rotors the pads form the shape of the rotor which is no good on new or resurfaced rotor

so the reason i didn't have this problem yesterday with the original pads were because the pads formed to the warped rotors so there wouldn't be much of a problem....is that what your saying? Now that i have new pads, the out of shape rotors are now noticed. is this right?
