h&r spring installation question

Default h&r spring installation question

when i remove the stock rear spring. I notice the top two coil has a rubber sleeve on it. Do i need to remove it put it on the new spring?
Any help appreciated.

I believe that is to cover the spring and prevent any rusting at the cut end.. I could be wrong.

But H&R is very meticulous about thier rubber coating.
