Today I had someone tell me that when you look under your engine code (d15,b16 ect) on your block and it has" H M " stamped under it that it stands for "h motors online" has anyone heard anything along those lines? I always thought it stood for Honda Motors.

I have 2 B18c1 here in front of me and they both have HM cast into them. the letters are raised.

Must mean Highly Motivated.

 

cast into, i was told today that my motor was replaced because it said "hm" under it, raised letters not pressed into like the b16a1,

 

It's late or I'd walk out to the shed and see what the H23 has.

I wouldn't worry about it.

had a jdm b16 from them it had an HMO on it with a circle round it. Looked like a ford emblem

 

i'll put pictures up, its just an H M nothing else but that, i've looked at the d series and my jdm b16 in the garage and they just have numbers under them.

 

My h22 and nearly everyone i've seen in the uk has it..

"Honda Motors" is likely... but I am not certain. However...

This picture actually shows the "HMO" stamping on the engine code pad, which does in fact stand for "H Motors Online". The cast-in raised "H M" does NOT stand for "H Motors Online"... this I am certain.

 

... or maybe turbokidcrx's engine is SUPER RARE !!!
