Gut the AC

I have a 93 cx hatch and am guting it, I have taken all the a/c stuff out and off the engine bay but just wondering what things i have to remove from the cab, like ducts and or box's. I see alot of black housings under the dash.

Actually the heater core is seperate from the evaporator. They are housed in the same box though.
If you really want to do this you will have to completely remove your dash and then most of the HVAC system. When you have enough ductwork removed to open the large box with the heater core/evaporator you can remove the evaporator. It is the one with a probe looking thing on it. It also should have metal fittings on it instead of rubber hoses. You will have to find a way to plug up where the fittings came in for the evaporator or it will blow air into your engine compartment. Not really a big deal if you really want to do it half assed.
