i've got alot of vw friend, they all say the vr6 is fast and i believe them. i'm pretty sure that in stock form the vr6 will kick the gsr *** all day long.

for people that say they are equal in performance you do know that its not the GTI wit the 1.6t but with the vr6 which is a 6 cylinder and has crap loads of torque right?

My neighbor across the street has ONLY a lowering kit on his GTI VR6 and a exaust and says he's gotten it up to 150mph before top speed.

NICE!! those vee6 are fast
another thing is its mileage.. it seems that i spend quite same amount of money on gas with both cars..might because of the honda need to rev higher for the torque.. but the handling the honda should be better.. just trying to be un-bias since i own both. my old Gold just got a Neuspeed sway bars, a Remus exhaust and a set of blistein shox upgrade.. and its already powerful enough for most application.. lots of torque, when my Civic need to keep them on higher rev to produce power. also seems that the V6s RPM raise a lot faster then the I-4..
