This post does nothing in this TECH forum.

Remember, you are asking in a Honda forum, what do you think most people will say? Anyway, both cars are very good. Does he plan to modify any of them?

yea he is planning to do mods to both but he thinks that mods on the gti raise the hp a lot quicker than on a gsr

I hate to say this but the vr6 has a good chance of stompin a geezer.
But if love your geezer enough you'll make sure it's victorius.
I was reading eurotuner one day and read about a vr6 motor than handled 30lbs. of boost
on stock bottom end. That's pretty impressive. he went through 3 motors before he figured it out though. With either car your friend will be happy.

gti's are the ****...they can be very fast. it all comes down to whether he wants a HONDA/acura or a volkswagon.

since this is HONDA TECH, i think almost everyone here is going to go with the gsr.

VR6's are very expensive to upgrade, yet GSR's are very prone to theft.

They are similar stock, it really depends on which car you want to drive.

Its a drivers race in stock trim.

Also, like stated above GTI's are a shitload to modify.

I would take a GSR. Because im partial. I have Volks....personal preferance.

I have whooped a few in my day. When I was all motor and since i've gone turbo I haven't encountered one. Its all about driver and which one has more modifications.

I swear to god that V6 is very fast, was in a stock ITR (friends) and i have no idea why i cant catch up with it..

another thing is that Lupo GTi.. was pretty damn quick as well.. went to a VW meet with an ITR is not a good choice.. oh well..

The golf has the aerodynamics of a schoolbus

Plus you can't argue with the plethora of aftermarket products available for the integras....

Why are we still talking about the GTI??? the R32 whoops *** on the GTI its got 240 hp and all wheel drive! its like a 2 door NA version of the EVO or STi.

http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/golf_r32.asp

read the stats folks.

Because the r32 is a brand new car that is a hell of a lot more expensive than a used gsr.
