I have a hydro GSR tranny on my 2000 B16...I would like to buy a hydro B16 tranny, but I just cant find one around here...should I get a different final drive for it? like an ITR FD or something? how much do they usually cost? and is it an easy install?

 

i like da way the b16 tranny revs up fast, but ilike my gsr tranny cause i do a lot of freeway driving.
the b16 revs only a little higher than the gsr on the freeway though

 

GSR and ITR both have 4.40 FD. Some of the Jap market ITR's have a shorter FD, I think 4.78.

Do you want to trade? i have a 99 hydro B16 tranny PM me if you want to work something out. no grinds, have used GM sycromesh FM when the car is accually running.
