It's time for a new transmission, should I stick with the LS or go GSR?
Here's my setup: B18b with direct port nitrous in EG hatch

 

I say out of those two choices the GSR will by far be the best... quicker gear ratio means your excelerate faster..

If i were you i would look for a ITR tranny, comes equiped with a LSD and a nice gearing ratio..... But if the ITR tranny is alittle pricey for you the GSR will deffently be within your price range and be by far the best tranny next to the ITR.... Enjoy.

 

Yeah I notice people post better times N/A with the GSR tranny vs. the LS, but I just questioned about it with the nitrous

 

nitrous will not have any effect whatsoever. B16 is the next best to ITR since they have almost identical gearing. also the ITRs and some B16s in japan ONLY came with LSDs. USspec is nonlsd. Id get a b16

 

get the GS-R tranny, shorter gearing is a good thing.

 

I like my LS tranny and the juice .
