Default GSR head on ITR block

What's the compression ratio going to be? Also, I was wondering if this would effect smog? Thanks.

Smog = Illegal if the smogger knows what he is doing.

http://www.c-speedracing.com for comprssion.

I wouldn't switch the head unless I had to.

CR will probably be very similar. You'll lose power because the ITR head is hand-ported at the factory, and the GSR head/intake mani uses a two-stage VTEC crossover; so it'll feel a little more suble when the big lobes are engaged.

Well the reason why I want to use the head is because it has been ported by Portflow, with racing valves, valve springs and retainers, S2 manifold, Cams & Sprockets, along with a ported TB.
Do you guys think this will be a good setup?

actually a friend of mine had a simliar setup running JUN III cams, he made over 200whp. same head later went to another motor (b16a) with Spec Bs it made close to 190whp in the car.

ported GSR head flows well, there should be no problems in using it. as far as c/r its going to be about 10.8-10.9 (USDM) or 11.2-11.3(JDM block)
