I have a mildly modified B18C1 in a Civic HB so I bought the Exedy Organic Clutch Kit. I've never done a clutch job before but am mechanically proficient, have the factory shop manual and a buddy who is a part-time mechanic(mostly domestic). So, should I have my buddy help me or pay my certified mechanic $300+ to do it? If I should do it myself: is there anything tricky I need to know about installing it? Also, does the flywheel have to be resurfaced?

its pretty simple and str8 foward. you say you are mechanically inclined so you should be able to do this. did on my civic........took 5 hours.
