The bores are the same for the B16A and the B18C, so the swap would theoretically yield a 1.8 liter displacement. However, the deck height on the B16A is lower than the B18C, so the pistons would extend beyond the block.

Now if you have a B16B (CTR), the block is the same as the B18C and the swap would be possible. You would need GSR or ITR rods in that case.

he could use the gsr crank and rods and go w/cutom pistons and be done w/it.

agreed, the GSR crank would yield a bigger stroke, however as stated this would push the pistons above the deck. there are a few super snky snky people here that run a custom piston set up within a b16 block and a GSR crank that allows them to get away with this. essentially you have the holes for your rod on your piston moved up to accomodate the new set up

ahhhh yes but you will have to have custom pistons no way around it.

um yes there are, however i dont believe he uses stock pistons, he uses aftermarket pistons. moves the pinhole up so you can use a GSR crank and Rods in your B16 block.

your not even woth it......it obivious that you don't have a clue or even how to explain it.it is called wrist pin...'THE HOLE WHERE THE ROD GOES YOU LIKE TO CALL IT" it is not called moving the hole up...it is called compression height.it sounded like you were trying to say i didn't know what i was talking about...so i was just setting the record straight.

take it how you want?

well you can say what the **** you want.i simply said you can not take a stock piston and move the wrist pin up."IT TAKES CUSTOM".....THEN IT WAS LIKE YOU STATED....THAT TECH43 "WHICH I KNOW WHO HE IS" CAN DO STOCK PISTONS.......that way.....then i ask for the link....then get this mr.know it all.....i have never nor will i ever know everything about these honda's.....i learn something new everyday.BUT I DO KNOW THIS.........

I KNOW ALOT MORE THAN YOU THAT'S FOR SURE....
