yes you can do this and nothing needs to be changed besides the camshafts.
benefits gained will be a slight increase in torque, you probably won't feel it though.

Yes, you can use gsr cams in your b16a2 and no it wont mess anything up.
Any b-series cams will work in your ride without any modifications and to answer your other question "is it worth it? In my opinion "no" expect the gain to be very mininal. The cam lobes on your b16 are actually bigger than the Gsr's.

Hope that helps a bit

Cam lobes are bigger. the lift is higher on the gsr and the duration is longer, how can the b16 be bigger..

I wouldn't do that.. GS-R non-vtec lobes reach their peak @ 4400rpm, then the xover takes place. B16 cams reach their peak @ 5600, then the xover takes place. So from 4400rpm to 5600, you will lose some power, unless you retard the xover point on ur ECU.

I have three differn't kinds on b series cams in my shop right now. 1st gen b16, 94-97 gsr, and b16a2 out of a 99-00 si. Upon visual inspection the b16a2 have more lift than the other two, But the Gsr's appear to have more duration. The 1st gen b16 ones seem to be really close to the gsr in lift.
