Default gsr block w/b16 head?

I've heard that putting a b16 head on a gsr bottom end will perform better than just a gsr. I was wondering if anyone is running this setup and what the difference in peformance is, and if it is worth me building it. thanks.

No you cant just slap a B16 head on and expect better power , in fact you will probalbly lose power because the combustion chamber on the GSR is smaller and if you go B16 you will lose compression and quench . The poor mans ITR is B16 pistons in a GSR and a B16 head but there is much debate over what head is better personally I would never take off a GSR head and replace it with a B16 just not worth it . Most dynos show the GSR head making a little better power . In any case its not worth the trouble .

I have this set up on my car, 4 the price it's good. i put a thinner headgasket to make up for the compression loss
