Default GS-R Vtec swap into a LS

been asking questions and stuff on this topic the past few weeks, i finally have the V-tec on a stand and i'm going to be building it, i have a 1991 teg LS b18a non v-tec and i'm going to be droping the 99 GS-R b18c1 V-Tec into it, i poster earlier about the ECU i'm going to need i do plan on adding aftermarket int./ex. and changing my flywheel and clutch right away, most likely while i'm doing the swap, i called around to a few place and the told me to get a OBD0 PR3 ECU for the swap, i need advice, this is my first big mod to my car, any advice would be great

i found out the 99 has a P72 ECU and was told a P28 would be better, also for now i'm going to be using the LS tranny my major question right now is the wireing and the ECU everything else looks like it will basicly bolt in if anyone has advice links tips or anything on this it would be a great help i'm a newb

and to add i planed on using a Skunk2 CatBlack Exhaust System.
also on the ECU does it have to be for a B18 or will a B16 work?

it's going to be far from plug 'n play in a 91 teg. you'll probably be better off using a gsr harness, since alot of the plugs on the 91 ar different from the 99 even for the same sensors. go with the p28 if you don't want to run a knock sensor, or secondariy butterflies, other wise stick with the p72 obd2. yes you could use the b16 ecu but agin the p72 is the only ecu that controls the secondaries. a little research will go along way, there is so much info on the net, you really should figure all this stuff out before you throw it together. if you need any specific advice you'd do well to ask VtecVillian, try the hybrid forum.

ok i've done more reading and it seems i have a very wide choice of ECU that would work, some said a OBD1 P28 or OBD2 P28 or P72 would be best, the P72 for the secondaries and i've also seen that these can be chiped and re programmed for what i need.

so now i ask if i plan on going all motor for a while what do you think would be better? the OBD1 P28 or the OBD2 P28?

Skunk2 ex will most likely be put on the engein before i drop it into the car and possibly a AEM cold air.

If you want the iab's then you gonna need a p72 ecu.Or you can get a chipped p28 and run the iab's with a rpm activated switch.
to run a p28 or p72 you gonna have to convert to obd1 wich would be a better idea anyways.
you'll use the gsr dizzy
Obd2 is out of the question.
