Default greetings fromm Germany

Hi,
@ first: sorry for my bad english. I hope you can understand my questions...

For the moment i drive an '95 Nissan 240SX, now i will change to an '91 or '92 Honda CRX with an 124HP-Engine.

This should become an very cool and fat car. In germany we can drive at the Autobahn with 280Km/h but we may don't change anything on our cars without an appraisal. Perhabs, somebody knows this evil and blood-sucking institution... the TÜV. (The natural enemy of every tuned car)

for this reason you can't buy real high-performance Tuning-parts, like NOS or Engine-Mods in germany.
That's the reason why i posting here... Who knows real good working Mods for this engine. (It's the B16A engine... i think)

What about:
-Turbo-Kits or Supercharger (who has any experiences with which Manufacturer)
-bigger Fuel Injectors (what size)
-how to increase the redline
-what kind of clutch is after an real good tuning (320HP+) necessary
-mod's at the cylinder head (Camshafts etc.)
-and... don't forget the NOS.
-enlarge to perhabs 1800ccm

At last: Which Air-Suspenion ist good? In germany you can buy only one type of this, and it needs up to 1 minute to pump up the car from the ground.

Thanks a lot

Torsten

there are a few companys that are making turbo kits. f-max, drag and greddy are a few. the drag kit from what i have see can probably make 200 to 250 if tuned correctly. being you are in germany and don't have access to this stuff you probably wouldn't be able to tune it on a dyno. so your next option is street tuning it with a wideband. better to tune it that way anyways. do some resarch on this. these kits will come with everything you need. except the wide band. as for the nitrous. NOS, nitrous express, and venom are a couple. to go a step further getting an engine managment would be the best for the turbo kit. this would gain big numbers with the turbo kit. you could get 250 to 350 with the right exhaust set up and injector set up.

just thought i would help this thread get started. anyone feel free to change or and on to what i have said.

If you cannot modify your cars in Germany, then how does Brabus work? Is it becuase it is supported by MBenz, same as Alpina with BMW?

Seems strange as I often see cars in magazines which have been modified.

Assume you mean that cars that have been modified need to pass a test, sort of like in California, but the outcome will affet your insurance?

Just like if you're in California you have to use stuff that's approved by CARB.

If there's not a zillion Hondas in Germany, then DC or Jackson, or whoever(??) aren't gonna bother with TUV approval.

Yes, who don't know AMG or all the other great tunern from Germany. Theoretically you can buy anything you want for your car, even Turbo-Kits, Bodykits or super noisy exhaustsystems. But every changed part at your car needs an single acceptance from the TÜV. ONE(!) of this single acceptance cost for example for an exhaust-system aprox. 3000 Euro... Thats the reason why only big tuners like AMG or Brabus work this way. For VW or Audi found found in germany everything!!! but... who want to drive one of this cars

But now back to the Honda-Engine-

@b20turbojason: Do you have any Internetadresses of this companys?

What do you think... what turbo is the best choise? HKS GT2540 an T28 roller bearing Turbo or an 'normal' T25?

PS: look at my car @ http://www.geilekarre.de/index.php?id=19090" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow external">http://<a href="http://www.geilekarr...p?id=19090</a>
looks pretty ungerman, right?!
