Default Gotta Problem With (ELD)

yo0 i got a 98 civic--obd2 i need some help this is the problem my check engine light is on so i checked out the codes, the codes were 20 41 and 65 now i know that 41 and 65 are my o2 sensors primary and secondary now for code 20 witch is ELD-Electrical Load Detector i dont know what it is and i dont know what to do, how do i go about fixing that???? someone please let me now something about this!!

ELD = electrical load detector. On my cars it's built into the under-hood fuse box. Maybe look for some disconnected wiring?

Underdash fuse box - Fuse 15, 7.5A (Alt SP sensor) - Check it.

If its blown though, and you replace it and it blows instantly, then you're gonna have to track down where the short is.

I got an ELD CEL once...it was a precursor to my alternator going out. Basically it was charging funny...the car still worked but the voltages coming off the alternator were weird.

Swapped alternator and never had another problem again.

According to my book battery charging is not monitored by the ELD circuit, but I can't argue with the fact that replacing the alternator fixed the problem in my case.

If nothing else works you might think about getting an electrical alt/batt test done...most battery places will do it for free.
