Got a VW question...Vortex forum sucks assssss!!!!
sup guys...I got a question that my friend wants to ask. He just got a 98 Passat 1.8t and just installed his TT but he cant find the wire for the RPM signal and the Speed sensor wire. Any diagram of the back of the cluster or the ECU would be great thanks.

A good method to try is to talk to someone who deals in DEIproducts(alarms etc.)
Directed Electronics offers to their authorized dealers what is called 'TechSoft' this allows them to get wiring colors and locations on every vehicle made. Circuit City, Best Buy are two big chains that carry DEI products. If you have a buddy there then maybe they can get you the wiring. If not I can call my old shop(authorized dealer for 15 years) and have them fax you one. Good Luck.
