Default Got a B18C bottom end.. what to do now?

I've got a B18C bottom and a JUN III PR3 head. I need pistons and rods, but don't know which direction to go. I am thinking about sleeving and going 85mm, but then I also think that if I was going to do that I'd be better off just buying a Darton block so I can bore the hell out of it. I want to run 13s or better, and have some good torque, and suggestions?

I would just go with the GSR block... You are pretty much doing my exact setup... GSR Golden Eagle sleeved to 85mm JE 13.0:1 slugs, ITR rods and crank, Portflow PR3 head with JUN 3 cams and valvetrain, ITR manifold, RC 370's, chipped P28 and Hondata 3... With this setup I'm hoping for high 11's in a daily driven EG... You could drop a GSR motor into an EG with a CTR intake cam, sprockets, and slicks and get it to run 13.0... These motors are way more built and should be easily capable of putting 230hp down to the ground... Have fun..

JDMspecEG6- we always seem to run into each other on this site. I'm really on the fence about boring the block... it's getting to be way more $$ than a B18 is worth, IMHO. I think Darton wants 2k for their block, closed deck@ 85mm. Plus it's stronger... That seems like the way to go overall. It may be that I take this B18 and put .25 over 12.5:1 pistons in her and some eagle rods, balance and micropolish and call it a day. I'm guessing with the JUN III head I should be about 200 whp, and in the 13s easily.

Yea we do run into each other a lot.. haha... Yea I know about those Dart blocks but i personally just like OE stuff... Being a closed deck i have no doubt that they would be stronger but you don't need it to be all that crazy for high compression alll motor... If you do just end up boring your B18 .25mm over with 12.5:1 pistons and your head I don't think you'll have any problems running low 13's, high 12's... What chassis is this motor going into???

94 Hatch, completely gutted... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=342847 has pics of my panda express. I've ran a 14.4 in her with just the B16 stock internals, with I/H/E and ACT/JUN flywheel combo, on streets. So I don't think it will take too much to get it into 13s. I am mainly concered about SCCA and what not. Time slips are more of a novelty, but at the same time I don't want to lose to a stock Mustang.. lol

haha, yea smoke those mustangs..... anyways you'll have no problems hitting 13's with that... I would say more along the lines of 12's once you get that tuned... But yea looks clean... you gonna get it painted??? How much did you get ur mirrors for?? Latez
