I am helping a friend post this question. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in Boston that will do a good job of repairing a tranny or swap one out? The problem is that the 92 Accord keeps having to be reved to 5000rpm for it to engage the next gear. Thus, my friend is thinking of repairing or changing it. Any idea how much either option would cost?

Have you checked the TPS or anything yet? Either way check out Hondaa King on Western Ave.
