I have a set of cams that I need to identify. Now I have looked through what I can find in the search results, and no avail.
Quick run-down:
-There are no grooves on the dizzy side of the cam(either cam) like the "R" ones
-All the letters in between the lobes never match to what I find in the search
-The person I bought them from said that they were GSR cams from a 94
-The letters that are on them are "G" and "F"(nothing on the reverse side)
I just want to make sure that they are indeed GSR cams before I go taking the time to switch them into my B16. I can get pics if that is going to help. What do the letters mean as far as identifying them goes? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Although people can speculate on what they are, no one is going to be able to give you a definitive answer unfortunately. The only way to know what they are is to measure them but you are going to be hard pressed to find someone who has the knowledge or equipment to do that on this board. Lift is easy to measure, you just use a mic to measure the difference between the lobe height and the base circle. Measuring duration will require it to be chucked in a lathe or between centers and actually plot the lift curve.

Sorry, I don't have time to search for you. You are going to be hard pressed to find the answer to your question on this board. There are no published specs available but some people may have recorded them. When talking duration remember you have to compared duration at the same starting lift, such as @1mm or @ .006".
