Recently purchased a gsr head from a local person, and the head says p72 which i new was gsr, but the cam gears say pr3? he told me all cam gears say pr3? is this true? i thought pr3 was b16? can anyone verify this?

 

b18c cams say p72 i think the first gen gsr MIGHT say pr3 if u search ull find your answer.

well the cam gears stamped pr3. do the cams themselves have stampings? I looked at some others for sale and they look like all the gsr cams for sale have pr3 stamped on em also. i guess thats what its supposed to be

 

well my dohc cams have pm7 stamped right on the cam. go over to ef-honda.com and search

 

oh, well i was just seeing, i was not too smart abot cams but always thought pr3 was b16. learned something new i guess.

 

yes all b series cam GEARS, vtec and non, are stamped pr3
