Been having some problems with a 89 crx si i just bought seems stock d16a6 except for the stupid remote start that was out in and an msd ignition switch so drove around a few weeks ran fine no major issues was a bit sluggish between 2500 rpm and 3000 rpm not too bad replaced fuel filter then all the sudden i was the on road and it back firee a few times so i pulled over and no start after that so i towed it home got new spark plug and wires not the msd wires just stock wires also just replaced the alternator and ran fine again then a day later killed out in the side of the road went to start it no crank just like a griding type whinning noise but a few mins later started up and contininued to run at this point im just gonna remove all that afyer market stuff mainly the ignition switch if that's considerably the problme along with this remote start btw it's a manual just curious if anyone knew where to start with removing all this crap or could point me in the right direction of my other problems

I would start by removing the remote start and all its wiring. 94

My bad msd ignition control module with a blaster 2 hooked up didnt see the confusion for a second I wanna rip out the remote start but have literally no idea where to begin because once I look under that dash it's a wiring frenzy from all the wiring for the alarm which connects to all the light and etc also the previous owner ripped out everything to the clutch safety switch no plugs or ports found anywhere around the clutch
