Which GM Syncromesh for which tranny???
ok i know this has been covered alot before but i havent been able to find a definate answer...
i have a 99 ex non lsd and i want to know if i can use the friction modified ....or do i have to use the regular , some people say the modified is for lsd trannies....
which one is better overall???

We use the modified and it works amazing in all the prelude trannies. Redline is great too, but defin GM Syc Mesh Friction is the way to go

i've heard that the friction modified type can
wear out your seals quicker because of all the additives in it
so i got the regular gm synchromesh mtf

I guess thats retail....I was able to get hooked up at a chevy dealer for 10 bucks a quart of the friction modified stuff....I did feel smoother shifting. Been using if for 4 months

yeah, i got shafted with the price...
, but well worth it. have used gm synchro for about 6 months
