Default Getting scammed? Tranny expert needed

I pulled the tranny from my f22 and it was in perfect running condition. Sold it to a guy and since it was good i guarenteed him it would work. But right after he put it in he said it wouldnt go into reverse. He describes it " its like theres no reverse gear ". I know the tranny is good and i know i didnt do anything wrong but what could be the problem? Since hes a friend of a friend i cant just say its "as is" and just leave him with it.

1-5 shifts perfectly but reverse wont go in at all.

So what do you guys think?

sounds like the clutch isnt disengaging. always check reverse first. if reverse goes in then the rest will. prolly just be able to bleed it or adjust the cable( cable or hydro?)
