Default getting code 7 on rebuilt b16a1 (pw0/pr3 ecu)

just rebuilt my b16a1, starts up ok (burning more oil than a bitch but it starts), but im running a code 7, which indicates TPS sensor.

anyone had any problems with the TPS sensor? likelyhood of it being a problem with the ecu or tps sensor? any comments much appreciated.

if its plugged and the wiring is in good shape the TPS could be crooked, especially if you ever removed it. You can loosen the 2 screws and turn it slightly. The washer make indentations so you may be able to see where it was before but if that thing is turned wrong you can get a cel.

i assume that even though it may not be set correctly but functional it won't give a code?

Do a voltage check and see if the TPS is even working. Any other codes? And btw, even with a fresh rebuild you shouldn't be burning oil so bad that it mosquito fogs.
