Default Getting around Emissions..lol

Okay, so obviously by the title you know what this post is about; my tuning solution for my vehicle is going to either be AEM EMS2, or Hondata S300, and obviously neither will allow me to pass emissions..
My vehicle was scheduled for emissions testing 1 month before it was to become too old to be tested--actually a few days-- none-the-less the stock ECU will no longer be running since i am swapping to an obd1 ecu and motor--
Is there a way i can "sell" my vehicle to a friend and buy it back and not have to test my vehicle then? Or will the DMV see that it wasnt tested when it was due last time and still request the test?
Let me know what you guys think-
Jim

Are you in CA. The only way around it is to "give" the vehicle to a family memeber. Not sure how many times that will work though.

If it is a obd2 car your screwed. you cant sell or transfer ownership of a car anymore without a smog cert.

Im sorry I was incorrect. If you transfer when the Biannual is due ,you still have to complete the biannual.

This still does not apply between family members. Only if the Biannual is due.

The cut off date is 1975. '76 and newer cars will ALWAYS have to be smogged. With some exceptions(unless the law changes in the future)
