Default Gen5 dash removal

Hey guys I need to replace the Piece of the dash that the vin number is rivited to but i cant find any diagrams on how to remove the whole dash (only way to get to the pice that i can think of) anybody know were I can find one ? ( I want to take the dash off anyway I need to Dye it ................. thanks NS

You should really get at least the Haynes manual for your car. It's only $13 and has pictures and instructions on how to remove your dash. It's not that hard though. There's only 6 bolts holding it in.

is there a site online that i can find this hayes cause all the shops in my area never seem to have one.

had my coupe dash out 5-6 times, you need to remove all the simple crap ie..radio,glove box etc... 1 bolt under the center dash vent, 1 bolt on each end, and a couple by the glove box . pull the gauge cluster unplug the main ground(on the rt hand side, metal u shaped bar, spade clip just to the left of the heater) unlpug all the heater boxes,radio,heater, & drag all the wires to the driver side & drop them through next to steering column, drop the steering column(removing the driver side seat makes it easier) unbolt any misc bolts i may have forgot and pull it out.
