it's not easy till you do it several times. at first it's very intimidating...more than likely to **** it up unless you have a helms and/or someone who knows what they are doing to assist you.

so its not as simples as taking out a screw here & there and just swapping it to the other trans? i found a zc trans for 2hundo shipped, and i have an extra si tranny to work with. i just cant find a how-to or anyone that can help me out swapping the gears & i am definatly going to do it myself beacause that is what i do.

well it sounds like you rather do the work yourself. i'm all for people learning and not being scared to dissect and reassemble something like an engine or tranny. it just takes the mentality, which you have, and i would suggest a helms book and just study through the manual tranny pages before and during. taking it apart and putting back together is actually easy as long as you have the parts inside right. the hard part is keeping everything inside in their respective and correct placement. it's easy to install a gear or something upside down...this is all it takes to throw everything off and cause binding. you have to pay serious attention to everything inside. go for it and just pm me if you have any questions whatsoever or tbone, who i believe knows alot about sohc trannies and compatibilities.
