Default Gauge Question...

I have an autometer boost gauge and tach in which the needles are off. Here is a pic of the boost gauge:

But the tach is stuck at 3k rpm and I am wondering if either needles on the gauges are going to move once installed?

That boost gauge may be off when installed. Don't worry about the tach. When you shut the car off, sometimes it will jump to some weird position again, but when it's running, it will be fine.
