Default Gauge install help....

Just got a a pillar for a 94 civ..4dr lx.. i wanted to know where to tap in the sender wire for the air/fuel guage.. ? i was wondering if i can tap it through the ecu like the dsm guys or do it straight to the o2 sensor?

you realise that gague hooked up to the stock o2 sensor is pretty much useless right?

my reply to that is, my friend is head strong about putting that and his oil pressure gauge into his car.. n he doesnt want to/has no timeto look up threads on how to do it.. so for me to get him off my case about wiring it.. i figured id ask.,..

hit it off the ecu, not sure of the pin or hit the white wire, either way its ******* useless on a stock o2

thankyou... i was wondering where i can get a ecu pin lay out... i've tried searching a few threads n sites but i can find any thing on a ls ecu

Actually the 4-wire O2 sensors aren't totally useless. They basically work as rich, stoic., and lean indicator. I think one of them the MSD kit is pretty honest. It only has two leds. When one of them lights you are lean, when the other lights you are rich--and when both light you are at stoichiometric...

oh ok thanks alot... i got another ? with the oil pressure gauge install... when placing the sender in with a T any one have issuses with the T breaking at all or did you just put the sender in the location of the stock one?

you need to put the sender at the firewall, the weight of the sender on the block will break over time due to vibration
