Default Gauge cluster HELP!!!

I have a 99 si and when I got the car it had a white gauge face in it and I preferred the stock one. So I I took everything apart and a few minutes later I was where I could remove the face. Then I realized the needles were in the way. (DUH) So like an idiot I broke the base of the water temp needle from where it mounts in. I was hoping that it would snap back in but the tiny rod that goes into the cluster broke off. I was wondering what I could do to fix this. Or a way I could get around without the gauge functioning.

you need to replace the whole gauge. go to a junkyard , clusters are sometimes hard to find there but you can remove whatever gauge you need seperately. might have to replace it with a gauge from a dx or ex cause i garantee there will be no si clusters there
