FWHP...BHP???
ok... so there has been some discrepancy over what FWHP means... basically some dude on some other automotive board flamed my friend because he had the meaning screwed up... but i'm not even sure it was screwed up. Does FWHP stand for flywheel horsepower, or front wheel horsepower? I have a video of a supra dyno-ing on my computer and at the end it says 800rwhp, and i was pretty sure that meant rear-wheel horsepower... until now. Also what does bhp mean? ive always thought it was "base horsepower". Thanks a lot for any responses guys.
I think it really depends on how it is used, FWHP could be either.
BHP tends to mean "Brake Horsepower" which is flywheel horsepower calculated on an engine brake dyno.
RWHP: rear wheel horsepower.
I could be wrong.

Thats all correct. When I read your post and saw FWHP, I immediately thought front-wheel horsepower, b/c I was thinking along the lines of rwhp being rear-wheel horsepower. If someone were referring to flywheel horsepower, I'd think they'd say bhp or just horsepower at the flywheel. my .02
