Default Fusebox Relocation -- 1999 Civic EK

Hello there.

I have been trying to find information on how and where to relocate the fusebox to on my 1999 Honda Civic Si (Si = D16Y8 in Canada) and I have found a few threads but there are no pictures and there are virtually none I have come across with descriptions.

From what I hear, people normally relocate it to under the glovebox, in the glovebox or under the passenger side air bag. I prefer to relocate it to where ever the least amount of cutting, soldering and shrink-tubing is required.

If anyone has any detailed descriptions on how to do this or can chime in, please do so. Thank you for your time and I hope to have some replies!

Some "moding" will be needed no matter where you put it, the closer to it's original location the less moding will be needed.

I have not seen any real good DIY on fuse box location, but there are many out there, all will be the same extend leads that need to be, shorten leads that need to be.

Best way is to do one plug/connection at a time, extend leads as needed to reach the new location, reconnect to fuse box and test to make sure you have not made any mistakes, then do the next plug, plug it back in and retest, repeat until all leads are done, now move the box.

It is a lot easier to find a mistake when doing one plug at a time.

Hint, find your car at a PicknPull and pull the harnesses you need so when extending leads you will have the correct wire colors. 94
