Funny idle when VSS is connected to ecu
I have posted about this problem before but here it goes again. I had issues with my VSS I was getting a check light and when I fixed the broken wire my RPM started to act funny. So between the shifts 1-5 my RPM will jump a hunderd RPM and than goes down. Also when the car is moving at any speed (in neutral) my RPM stays at about 1500 when I come to complete stop it drops to 800 and stays there.
When I disconnect the VSS the issue goes away but no Vtec. So I am confused on what the issue is. Any suggestions. Thanks
p.s. this is h22a in a ef and Im using a mechanical VSS
