Default Fuel Sump, slight rust

had my tank sumped a few weeks back and it kinda just sat around and i didnt put anything in the holes cause the car has just sat in the garage. i poked my finger in the hole and there is slight surface dust rust in there. I immediatly poured some gas in and blocked off the holes to let it run it slowly. Will i just need to flush. I dont know if it will wash away with the fuel or not?
