Fuel in spark plug...
Hi there guys! I have a little problem I hope some of you can answer. A couple of days ago, I finally got a new motor swapped into my SI. It's got a b16a2 with JE pistons, Eagle rods, GSR cams and a Greddy turbo kit. The shop I took it to had the VTEC connector and ect connector connected to the wrong sensors. I was getting a cel 6 and VTEC was not activating. I switched the connectors to the right sensors and the cel goes away, but then I couldn't start the car anymore.
I checked the grounds, fuses, etc. and couldn't find nothing. I thought the starter or alternator might be bad, but I was still able to crank it and all of the lights came on.I took the battery to get it checked and it was still good, started looking at the distributor, spark plug wires, and then decided to take a look at the spark plugs.
Well, I take one out and the tip was wet with fuel. All 4 plugs got wet with fuel, so I changed the plugs and then went to start the car, and it started!!! Took the car back for O' Reilly to check on the starter and alternator and that was also good. I don't know how the spark plugs got fuel on them, but I did crank the motor several times and got a fuel smell every time I cranked it. Could trying to start start the motor several times be a possiblity of how the plugs got fuel on it? I'm totally lost, so I now turn to you guys because I don't know if this is gonna be a ongoing problem.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Yes, as long as it doesn't happen consistently, then you're good to go
