Fuel pump issue?
The other day i was wiring in a cd player. Two wires sparked and i thought nothing of it. Then when i went to start the car the fuel pump didn't turn on. First, I switched out the fuel pump, nothing. Then i checked every fuse on the entire car (as far as i could tell), still nothing. Then i checked the fuel pump relay, again nothing. I have run out of ideas on what this might be. If you have any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions please chime in, I need your help badly. Thanks in advance. -Marcel
You need to check for voltage at the actual fuel pump connector. If you have no voltage then work your way back through the circuit until you find the point that the voltage stops flowing. This would be easier if you had a wiring diagram to follow. If you do have voltage then your pump (or connection) could be bad.

alright, so me and a friend hardlined the fuel pump by putting a wire from the battery to the fuel pump and it did work. so we tried to start the car but it still won't crank even with the power wire to the fuel pump. no spark either... what could this be?

That would be a starter problem, nothing to do with the fuel pump.
