Default Fuel pump install

i just got a walbro 255lp/h fuel pump (intank) thinking it would be a breeze.
well, i took the metal plate thing off, then got to the part where 6 bolts are, took those off, took a giant bolt off holdign the fuel sender i believe (same type of look that is on the fuel filter), now my problem is that i cant lift the platform thing up cause there is a hose still attatched and it doesnt look like it comes off, or would ever want to come off. what can i do now? this is really frustrating. thanks

i just showed my dad that diagram from the cspeed website, he thinks he can get that hose off lol

but any other help is appreciated. on another note, i noticed that my old inline was capable of only 125 psi it says, does that mean it can only handle 125 psi of fuel pressure? cause i was doing at least 128 psi according to my math. and the new one is 255lp/h does that mean 255 psi? BUMP thanks
